"I am a Graphic Artist because I am interested in the long tradition and intricate, skill-intensive methods associated with the art form – and especially the expressional possibilities of these different methods. A printmaker should be intimately familiar with their tools as well as their materials. The process of making print progresses in phases, and the rather slow pace of the craft gives room to find the right forms of expression fitting the artist’s thoughts."
